Eukaryotic organisms use complex regulatory modules consisting of
multiple regulatory sites to control gene expression. Bob Chan is
developing methods to detect these regulatory modules using statistical
analysis of genomic sequence data, particularly Drosophila melanogaster.
He hopes to extend theses analysis to Caenorhabditis elegans in
the future.
